I also have patterns below for a crochet awareness ribbon prayer shawl and wrap as well as a crochet awareness ribbon blanket. You can make them in pink for breast cancer awareness or any other color to support any cause.

About This Pattern

This pattern works up nicely with a bit of a stiffer yarn instead of a soft drapey one. I happen to like Red Heart Super Saver for this particular scarf. The yarn is soft against the skin, yet has some stiffness to it so the ribbons hold their shape.

The pattern consists primarily of single crochet, double crochet, and chains. It’s a three-row repeat throughout, so once you memorize these, the scarf works up fast. As always if you need help, please see my beginner crochet instructions and videos.

I do recommend blocking the scarf once completed. This helps hold the ribbons in place. I show a steam blocking method in the video, but feel free to use other appropriate measures for your fiber type.
