How to Crochet Scrunchies
Scrunchies have made an unbelievable comeback in recent months. Although some might say scrunchies never really went out of style. All I know is I’ve had over 20 requests in 2 days asking how to make crochet scrunchies for the hair.
I’m the Mom of a teenage girl, who you might know as Sarah from Reviews by Sarah. Apparently scrunchies are a staple of the teenage VSCO girl fashion accessories. I’m still not sure what a VSCO girl exactly is, but we have her to thank for this post!
A hair scrunchie is pretty easy to make with yarn, a crochet hook, and a hair elastic. I was a teen in the 80s, and I crocheted back then as well. Would you believe this pattern is how I created my own scrunchies way back when?
