How to Crochet the Bubble Border Stitch Pattern
The crochet bubble border creates a nice 3D textured effect for blankets, scarves, shawls, bags, and more using easy puff stitches.
About This Pattern
This crochet bubble border pattern and video tutorial shows how to make this cute 3D textured edging using a simple puff stitch. For my sample I’m using worsted weight yarn and a size 4.5 mm crochet hook. That size is between a G and an H crochet hook. Feel free to use any weight yarn and crochet hook.
The puff stitch creates this nice edging. To create a puff stitch, you’ll lift your loop a bit higher up, then make 7 sets of yarn overs and drawing up of loops. You’ll complete the puff stitch by making another yarn over and drawing through all loops on the hook. Then follow it with a chain 1.
As always the tutorial video shows you how to do this pattern. I hope you enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
