About Star Stitch Coaster
I love making quick and easy gifts. Everyone can use coasters around the house, school, and office. And these work great!
They consist of 3 rounds of double crochet stitches followed by a crochet star stitch edging around the border. I like to use contrasting colors to make the edge stand out.
I’m using 100% cotton worsted weight yarn and a size G 4 mm crochet hook for the center part and a size H 5 mm crochet hook for the star stitch edging. It really doesn’t matter what hook size you use. I would suggest going with whatever is comfortable for you.
