This easy crochet flower free pattern is a cute and simple chain loop flower. It’s made of chains and double crochet stitches. Looks like a mum or chrysanthemum. It’s a nice puffy flower that works great as a decoration on a hat, scarf, shawl, bag and more.
For this crochet flower, I’m using Red Heart Super Saver. I find that this yarn provides just the right amount of stiffness for the loops. I also like using a lighter green color for the first 2 rows of the flower. Then I like using a brighter color for the top loops section.
The free pattern instructions and video also show how to make a leaf. The leaves, ironically, are a bit more complex than the flower. However if you know your basic stitches like single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and double treble crochet, you should be just fine!
