How to Crochet 3D Hearts for a Blanket, Scarf, and More
Here’s a nice crochet 3D heart stitch that you can use for a blanket, scarf, hat, bag and more. Plus you can use just a few rows of these hearts for a border and edging!
About This Pattern
Here’s a cool crochet 3D heart stitch pattern. The hearts are crocheted at the same time you make the double crochet rows. It’s a nice textured stitch pattern that can be used for a blanket, scarf, hat, shawl, bag, and more.
I’m using worsted weight yarn and a size G 4 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use a different sized yarn weight along with its corresponding hook size.
To do this stitch pattern, you will need to know most of the basic crochet stitches out there. You’ll need to know how to crochet a chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.
This pattern is very “forgiving” so even if you are off by a stitch or two, the hearts generally still look pretty good. As always, please be sure to check out the step-by-step tutorial video for this pattern!
