How to Crochet an Easy Puff Flower
The Crochet Easy Puff Flower looks great by itself as well as joined together with other flowers. You can crochet many flowers in one day!
About This Pattern
I love flowers, especially crocheted ones! It’s probably because my allergies kick up with real ones. These crochet puff flowers are easy to make and work up very quickly. You can make one of them, or join a number of them together with the JAYGO (join as you go) method. Each flower measures about 2.5″ in diameter.
The center starts out with single crochet stitches. Then the second layer consists of the petals, which are all made the same way. You’ll make two sets of joined puff stitches that form the major section of each petal. A chain 3 on both sides completes the look
When you want to join multiple crochet flowers together, you’ll first crochet a completed flower. When you work on your second flower, you’ll remove your crochet hook at a certain point and draw through a loop connecting the first flower. It sounds complicated, but the video explains it in detail.
I’m using 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm crochet hook for my sample. However feel free to use other sizes of yarn and hooks to create different sizes and textures of flowers.
As mentioned I have a step-by-step tutorial video on how to make this. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
