How to Crochet Easy Twisted Headband DIY Pattern and Tutorial
The Crochet Easy Twisted Headband is a nice accessory that has a cute twist in it. It works up fast and easy!
About this Pattern
You might have seen these twisted headbands around. Many of them are knitted ones. You may have asked yourself, “How do you make those?” In this written pattern and step-by-step tutorial video, I’ll show you how to make these. They are a lot easier to make than you think!
For the main stitch pattern, I’ve chosen a variation on the typical single crochet ribbed stitch. In this one we’ll be alternating single crochet stitches (SC) on one row, and single crochet two together stitches (SC2TOG) on the next row. And we’ll be working in the back loops for the entire pattern. This creates a nice thick ribbed effect, which helps emphasize the twist in the front.
I’m using 100% acrylic, worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm crochet hook for my sample. You will see in the PDF and video how I show you can alter the size of this to fit sizes for a child, teen, woman, and man. As always, I hope you enjoy this pattern and video! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
