How to Crochet a Flower Kitchen Pad
This Crochet Flower Kitchen Pad is made with five modified granny squares. This works up fast and easy and is very colorful for your kitchen!
About this Pattern
I love crocheting quick projects like this. This crochet flower kitchen pad works up fast and is easy to make. It is comprised of five modified granny squares that are then connected together with single crochet stitches long the top and bottom edges. A little cinching in the center finishes the look.
And I love the look! It’s a layered look, created by the folding up of the bottom edges of the modified granny squares. I like to make mine very colorful too. I used a green for the center of each granny square, then I have a hot pink and a bright blue for the main petals. Both flower kitchen pads are outlined with yellow yarn.
It’s up to you how you want to use these. You can use them as hot pads, potholders, dishcloths, washcloths, and more. I like making these in 100% cotton worsted weight yarn with a size G 4 mm crochet hook. Feel free to go up in size with the crochet hook to make a larger flower pad. Or down in size to make a smaller one.
As always I have a step-by-step tutorial video on how to make this. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
