How to Weave in Granny Square Ends with a Crochet Hook
Crochet granny squares are very colorful and have a lot of yarn ends. A crochet hook can automatically weave in ends while making them!
About This Technique
Granny squares are so much fun to make, plus they can be useful in using up yarn from the collection. However, with all of the color changes there will be quite a lot of yarn ends. The beginning and tail ends can be automatically woven in with a crochet hook using a few techniques.
In this tutorial, I’m using 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn along with a G 4 mm crochet hook. Any other size yarn and hook can be used as well.
With the beginning tail end, crochet stitches are made over them. With the ending tail end, the crochet hook weaves the end in and out of the back loop of the next several stitches. This creates a secure way of tying up loose ends.
As always I have a step-by-step tutorial video showing this technique. Please enjoy this technique and video! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
