How to Crochet the Granny Square Heart
The Crochet Granny Square Heart takes the classic motif and creates a heart shape by making easy color changes!
About this Pattern
Granny squares seem to be even bigger than ever right now. And I love the traditional granny square. However, sometimes it’s nice to add a unique twist to vintage patterns such as this heart motif.
Two colors of yarn are used simultaneously in this pattern. One will be your working one and the unused yarn will be carried along as you make the heart. There is a chart in the written instructions that helps you place the yarn colors in the correct area. Plus the photos should help as well.
For my sample I’m using 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn and a size G 4 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use any other size you wish to accommodate your project and crochet tension.
