How to Crochet a Granny Square Tree Folded

This crochet granny square tree is easy to make by folding a granny square then gluing to a stick with a pompom on top.

About This Pattern

I’m a big fan of granny squares. These motifs can form many projects, depending upon how they are used. In this case, I’m taking one granny square and folding it into a tree shape.

For this project, I’m using a 5″x5″ granny square, a 6-inch craft stick (width 3/4″) and a 1.25″ pompom along with some hot glue. Everything can be found at most craft places.

I have a full tutorial showing how to assemble the tree. I also have a full step-by-step tutorial for beginners on how to crochet a granny square.
