How to Crochet a Puff Flower
Here’s a cute, quick, and easy puff flower that’s about 3 inches in diameter. It is perfect to attach to a hat, scarf, shawl, blanket, bag and more. I call them puff flowers, mainly because the edge of the petals are made with modified puff stitches.
I’m using worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm hook. The label of the yarn says “Festival – Mixed Fibers.” I’m pretty sure these are mill ends. Many of the yarn skeins in the clearance bin at my local AC Moore had this same label on it even though they were all different type.
This flower uses mainly single crochet, and chains, and a modified bobble stitch or popcorn stitch or puff stitch. The tutorial video shows how to work these petal stitches.
