How to Crochet Woven Dishcloth Pattern DIY Tutorial
The crochet woven dishcloth is a cute, colorful, and practical item for your kitchen. Four sections are woven together with slip stitches.
About Crochet Woven Dishcloth
I wrote this pattern back in 2014 along with some other origami-style scrubbies and dishcloths. Of course many have pointed out I never actually created a how-to tutorial video for this pattern. So here it is!
This dishcloth scrubbie is easy to make, as it consists of four rectangles made with single crochet stitches in the back loops only. Then the four sections are woven into each other one at a time and slip stitched together. You can sew the sections if you prefer, but I find slip stitches are much easier, since you won’t see the seams in this pattern.
I’m using Premiere’s Cotton worsted weight yarn for my sample. I’m using a size H 5 mm crochet hook to make the chain. Then I use a size G 4 mm crochet hook for the single crochet stitches. If you ever find your chain side of your work is tighter than your other stitches, going up a size in the crochet hook will help fix this.
As always I have a step-by-step tutorial video for this project. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia.
