How to Crochet a Woven Heart
The Crochet Woven Heart is a lovely handmade item that is both a pretty and useful decoration. Plus, it is easy to make!
About this Pattern
Hearts can brighten your day. Colorful hearts are even better! This crochet woven heart pattern combines both color and texture to really make your day!
We first start out with creating a semicircle. Then we crochet longer double crochet strands to serve as the parts on the bottom of the heart that we will be weaving. We make two of these, usually in different colors, then crochet around the edge. This edging helps connect the woven strands together.
I’m using 100% acrylic yarn in worsted weight because mine are for decoration only. However if you want to use these as a hot pad, dishcloth, washcloth, 100% cotton might be a better choice. I am holding 2 strands of yarn together for this project.
As always I have a step-by-step tutorial video to help you with these hearts. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia.
