How pretty are these crochet lace covered eggs? They work great as springtime decorations, Easter eggs, or any time of the year!
Decorated eggs are a big thing in my family. Coming from Ukrainian heritage, we write pysanky with a kistka and beeswax.
And we also crochet anything and everything. I remember when my Gram always made crochet lace covered eggs with very fine crochet thread. Hers were absolutely beautiful.
The ones featured in this pattern are relatively simple. It’s a little challenging going from working with worsted weight yarn to working with Size 10 crochet thread at first. But these work up very quickly and are a good way to practice with crochet thread.
These crochet lace covered eggs can be used to celebrate the beautiful season of spring. Or if you are of Christian faith, these work wonderfully also as Easter eggs.
