How to Crochet the Rolled Rose Crochet Edging
The rolled rose crochet edging is super easy to make and gives a nice 3D look to the border of your blanket, scarf, and other crochet items.
About This Pattern
If you are a regular to my website, you know I love two things: crochet flowers and 3D looking stitches. Now how much better can you get with this stitch pattern? I’d like to introduce to you the rolled rose crochet edging. It combines a technique I have shown for many years on how to make flowers, with a quick and easy way to attach them to your blanket, scarf, shawl, and other handmade items.
For my sample I changed things up a bit. I used a 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn for the blanket part. Then for the border edging I felt that the acrylic was a bit too fuzzy to define the flowers. So I switched over to a 100% cotton worsted weight yarn for the flowers themselves. For the entire pattern I kept with the same crochet hook, an H 5 mm.
As always there is a step-by-step tutorial video to help you along with this pattern. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia.
