How to Crochet a Flower Border Edging
Ever want to know how to make a cute 3D flower that is incorporated into a border edging for a blanket, scarf, shawl, and more? It’s a lot easier than you think!
Supplies
For this sample I’m using worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm crochet hook. You can of course use any size weight yarn and its corresponding or recommended crochet hook. This information is usually found on the yarn label.
Stitches
It’s a stitch multiple of 5 plus 4 (5+4). You will need to know how to crochet a chain (CH), a slip stitch (SLST) and a double crochet (DC). And that’s it! The flowers are made by crocheting around 2 double crochet stitches.
