How to Crochet the Extended Block Stitch Pattern
The crochet extended block stitch pattern has extended stitches along with color changes to make this design pop!
About this Pattern
I love 3D stitches. And I love colorful stitches and yarn. This is a fun and easy to remember pattern that works up very quickly.
The main stitches in this pattern are double crochet stitches, along with extended front post treble crochet stitches. There are two double crochet stitches in the beginning of the row and at the end of each row. In between, you’ll do two sets of five stitches. One type of five stitches consists just of double crochet stitches. The other set of five stitches alternates the front post stitch with double crochet. Then the reverse happens for the next set of extended block stitches.
You can use any kind of yarn and hook to create this stitch pattern. The design looks nice on a blanket, scarf, shawl, hat, and pretty much anything else. As always I have a step-by-step tutorial video to help you with this pattern. Enjoy! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia
