How to Crochet Popcorn Flower Pattern and Video Tutorial
This crochet popcorn flower is an easy design that you can make with either one layer of puffy petals or two layers.
About This Pattern
This crochet popcorn flower pattern and video tutorial is easy to make and works up very quickly too! For my sample I’m using less than 30 yards of 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn and a size G (either 4 mm, 4.25 mm, or even a 4.5 mm) crochet hook. For my flowers I used 3 colors of yarn. I used an off-white yarn in the center, followed by a lighter color for the first layer of petals. Then the outer petals are a darker color.
Speaking of layers of petals, you can make this pattern with just one layer of petals. Or feel free to make the two layers for a larger flower. My two-petal flower has a measurement of about 3 inches in diameter.
If you want to make this flower larger or smaller, the easiest way to do that is by using a thinner yarn or thread with a smaller hook to make the flower smaller. And use a thicker yarn with a larger hook to make the flower larger.
