How to Crochet a Rose Flower Bouquet
Crochet Rose Flower Bouquet. In this free pattern and video you’ll see how to crochet a rose for a bouquet. Great for weddings and vases!
About this Pattern
I love flowers. I’m kind of allergic to real flowers, so crochet flowers are a great alternative. Plus crochet flowers never wilt. They can last forever!
As you can see, you can crochet roses into a bouquet of flowers. These would look great in a vase on your kitchen table. Or how about for a wedding? Can you imagine making the bride one of these to put in her bouquet?
I happen to be using 100% acrylic yarn in worsted weight for my sample. It’s just what I have available in my stash right now. It’s inexpensive, still plentiful, and comes in nice colors.
But feel free to use any other kind of fiber like cotton, wool, etc. And feel free to change the weight of yarn too. A thinner yarn with a smaller hook will produce a smaller flower. A thicker yarn with a larger hook produces a much larger flower.
And if you have outdoor-safe yarn, you can make these flowers for outside use too. For what it’s worth, I have very good luck using 100% acrylic yarn for outdoor use. My crochet mandalas made many moons ago ago with 100% acrylic yarn and still going strong today outside!
