Crochet Ear Warmer Headband
If you are looking for a nice, textured ear warmer headband, this pattern is for you. It can be worn with the gather in the middle or as a straight band. The texture is created by alternating front post double crochet with regular double crochet stitches. Three sizes are included in the pattern, but it is very easy to customize to fit any head size.
Basic Crochet Stitches
This earwarmer pattern starts off with a foundation double crochet. This makes it very easy to customize for any head size. If you are making this for yourself, you can easily place the FDCs around your forehead to see if you need to add more stitches or less. You won’t need to rip out the chain and first round unlike with other methods. As mentioned before, this pattern uses double crochet and front post double crochet stitches.

Yarn Used in this Project
Please note I may receive compensation from the links below.
For this head band, I’m using one skein of Red Heart Heat Wave yarn in the color Passport. It is a 100% acrylic yarn that has special type of fibers in it. The yarn will keep you up to 12 degrees Fahrenheit warmer even on overcast or cloudy days. Each skein contains 198 yards / 181 meters. It’s a medium weight yarn that is 3.5 oz / 100 g. Red Heart is a part of the Yarnspirations family of yarn. Check them out below!
